Live Taping. The Tribeca Festival recognizes the vital impact of audio journalism and celebrates an exemplum of Excellence in Audio Journalism every year. This year Tribeca will honor the iconic podcast and landmark public radio show, This American Life, created and hosted by Ira Glass. This one-night-only live show will be the Opening Night event and official kickoff of the festival’s Audio Storytelling program. Podcaster and author, Ira Madison III, will be the special guest co-host of the evening. Join both Iras on a tour through some highlights of This American Life’s 30 years on the air. Glass will play entertaining clips and take attendees behind the scenes of the show.
