When hustler Bunny (Mo Stark) finds himself in a deadly fight for survival after a job goes wrong, his East Village tenement building becomes ground zero for a chaotic day filled with desperate measures. Alongside his best friend Dino (Ben Jacobson), Bunny scrambles to hide multiple bodies while dealing with a perfect storm of complications: persistent cops sniffing around, downstairs neighbors throwing a raucous party, Airbnb guests searching for romance and, most unsettling of all, the unexpected reappearance of his estranged father (Henry Czerny). With each failed attempt to conceal the evidence, Bunny's schemes grow increasingly frantic and absurd.

First-time director Ben Jacobson (who also co-stars) delivers a darkly comedic journey through New York City's East Village. The ensemble cast, including Michael Abbott Jr., Ajay Naidu, Tony Drazan and Liza Colby, brings a lived-in authenticity to this pressure-cooker scenario, creating characters whose messy humanity shines through even in the most outlandish situations. Shot entirely on location in downtown New York, the film's frenetic pacing and escalating complications immerse viewers in Bunny's increasingly desperate mindset, resulting in an entertaining ride that finds heart in the chaos.—Jarod Neece
